Bio

With nearly ten years of non-profit experience and twice as long as an entrepreneur, Jill Morenz is leading Aviatra Accelerators into its next phase of growth. Jill has created two businesses in her career and leverages those insights as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Aviatra, as she works with female entrepreneurs on setting them up for business success.  Her non-profit experience includes community building and an emphasis on fundraising.

Prior to Aviatra, Jill was Director of Community Initiatives and Communications for the Catalytic Fund, a private sector, non-profit organization that works to create urban renaissance through financial investment, development services and community vibrancy initiatives. She held key responsibilities for fundraising, communications, programming and event management. She also served in a dual role as Director of the NKY Public Arts Network where she was responsible for shifting the entity to a paid membership organization model.  Additionally, she developed and hosted Beyond the Curb: River City Living, an award-winning online home tour show with more than 40 episodes, and was instrumental in the creation of the NKY Bourbon Barrel Walk, a celebration of bourbon and local art. Previously, she was the Director of Operations for Skyward, where she managed fundraising, communications, operations and events.

A creative and exceptional communicator, Jill has worked with countless individuals on residential interior design projects and with numerous small businesses providing skillful copywriting and marketing strategy in her two decades running two separate businesses. Since joining Aviatra, she has worked directly with more than a hundred women, helping them start and grow their businesses with confidence.

Jill is passionate about her local community, serving in a volunteer capacity on the boards of Covington Community Montessori School and i.imagine photography, among others.
