Definition:

When you make more money, it drives the engine for your entire business.

Here are 3 ways to increase your income. Fair warning, they may seem obvious, but are often overlooked.

1. Get more new customers

2. Get your existing customers to buy from you more often

3. Get your existing customers to buy more each time
   

Why you should care:

Most marketing is done to accomplish the first goal: get more new customers.

Wouldn’t it be great if your current customers (the ones you’ve already found) bought from you more often and spent more with you each time?

Give it some thought.

What systems can you put into place to encourage this? Can you offer a loyalty program? Email your customers on their birthdays with an offer? Could you sell to your customers on a subscription basis?

Do you offer volume discounts? Do you give your best customers little gifts to stay top of mind with them?
